For those who wish to fish for more than just peacock bass, the Amazon Jungle is one of the best fisheries for multi species fishing in the world. Aggressive piranhas, vicious wolf fish, fanged vampire fish, acrobatic bicudas and don't forget the catfish!

You will spend all day fishing for peacock bass. At night while you sleep, your boat will move to a new locations.
While you are sure to catch a lot of 4, 5 and 6 pounders, you should also catch several over 10 pounds. Your goal is to catch one over 20 pounds!
There are 16 subspecies of peacock bass in the Amazon basin. The largest is the cichla temensis commonly known as the “three bar” peacock or Tucunare Acu. You are also likely to catch a butterfly peacock and if lucky a “fire peacock” or “blue peacock”!

The Amazon jungle is home to red tail catfish, flat whiskered catfish, Jau, Piraiba, Jundia and so many more. Catfish here can get as big as 2-3 hundred pounds!
While you won’t spend all day fishing for peacock bass, you will fish for them and should expect to catch several. If you are lucky, you will catch one as big as 10 pounds!
You will have opportunities to fish for things like prehistoric looking wolf fish, piranhas, vampire fish and more. Don’t use your fingers to lip them!
